The 2020 Scarecrow Classic Virtual Brain Challenge Series be held from October 17, 2020 through November 14, 2020. This Virtual event, hosted by the Brain Injury Association of Maryland (BIAMD) will rally survivors, families, friends, and supporters around the common goal of raising awareness about brain injury within the community and providing much needed funding to support the programs and initiatives of BIAMD.
​TO JOIN: 
  • Register for the Scarecrow Classic Virtual Brain Challenge Series before November 13, 2020
  • Complete a 1 Mile Run/Walk, 5K (3.1 miles)  or 10K (6.2 miles) at your convenience any time anywhere before November 14, 2020. 
  • Celebrate your accomplishment by sharing on social media! #ScarecrowBrainChallenge2020
 

ALL NEW SWAG.
Every entry gets you an All New 2020 Scarecrow Classic Virtual Brain Challenge TECHNICAL tee that you’ll love to wear with pride, AND, new for the Brain Challenge Series,  ALL runners will receive a Scarecrow Classic Finisher Medal AND the FIRST piece of a 5 piece Brain Challenge Medal. 
 
This year the piece will be the FRONTAL LOBE. 

 
PLACE

Anytime and anywhere! The Scarecrow Classic Virtual Brain Challenge Series can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park, on a treadmill, or even as part of your physical therapy. Sign up and get your friends to sign-up too!
 
HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN
  • Register for the for the Scarecrow Classic Virtual Brain Challenge Series and complete a 1 Mile Walk/Run, 5K/10K anytime anywhere. Simply run or walk 1, 3.1 or 6.2 miles any time and any place that works for you. In your neighborhood, your favorite trail, or even on a treadmill!
  • We will ship your official Scarecrow Classic Virtual Brain Challenge Series shirt, finisher medal, and your 2020 Brain Challenge Medallion (This year, the Frontal Lobe.)
  • After you complete your 1, 3.1 or 6.2 miles, share your accomplishment and the good you’re doing by posting pictures to social media. Show off in your new shirt, and/or wearing your medal, and be sure to use #ScarecrowBrainChallenge2020 when you post your pictures for a chance to win other cool prizes!


WHO IS THIS RACE SUPPORTING?

For over 35 years, BIAMD has been able to provide help, hope, and healing to Maryland's Brain Injury community. With the generous assistance of our supporters and volunteers, The Maryland Brain Injury Connection Center (1.800.221.6443) is able to provide resources, education, and assistance to Marylanders with a brain injury, their families, and the healthcare providers who serve them, all free of charge.
