YOU CAN HELP US ANSWER THE CALL.
The Brain Injury Association of Maryland has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Mental Health Authority to participate in the Department of Aging's new Maryland Access Point initiative. While we have been serving brain injury survivors and their families seeking services in our state for thirty years, this is BIAM's most exciting brain injury initiative in over a decade. We anticipate this new recognition as one of Maryland's premiere brain injury information and resource service centers will significantly increase daily calls to our Maryland Brain Injury Helpline (800.221.6443) and other contacts at our office.
We are currently upgrading our systems and training our staff to handle the increased number of inquiries and issues. Now, more than ever, we really need your support in order to fully respond to the complex needs of the brain injury community! Your donations will go directly to funding this exciting new project.
• Ensure timely and meaningful responses to the ever expanding number of callers
• Enable our team to cultivate and enhance relationships with brain injury service providers statewide to improve our ability to answer even the most challenging questions
• Enhance our ability to provide resource coordination statewide and promote brain injury awareness to the underserved communities in Maryland
PLEASE HELP BIAM ANSWER THE CALL.
