We would like to extend a warm and hearty thank you to all who joined us for the 7th Annual Scarecrow Classic 5k and 1 mile walk. We are inspired and humbled by the outpouring friendship, kindness, and overwhelming generosity.

To our volunteers, we could not have done it without you. One of the most consistent comments we received during the morning, and continue to receive today, is an appreciation of "how nice everybody was."  This comes as no surprise to us, but given the cold overcast conditions, we wanted you to know your smiles and friendliness did not go unnoticed by our runners and walkers. .

To our runners, thanks for coming out and lending your efforts to our cause.  Team or solo, sprinter or walker, we are very glad you took the time to spend your Sunday morning supporting us.  Our Athletes Helping Athletes runners were one of the highlights of the event. Watching you share your abilities with those unable to run themselves by pushing others in wheelchairs on the course was truly exciting to behold.  

And to our teams and fundraisers, you outdid yourselves this year. Our fundraising efforts far surpassed our goals and were a phenominal addition to our overall event.  It was also really fun to see all of the team t-shirts, hear the good natured smack talk, watch everyone jockeying for the best position in the team photos.

To everyone: Your enthusiam really makes this a fun event. Your love and support really makes this a family event. Your stories and achievements really makes this an inspirational event.
