The Maryland Brain Injury Provider's Council

What is the Provider's Council?

The purpose of the Maryland Brain Injury Provider’s Council is to provide a forum for education, cooperation, and communication among brain injury providers of service operating in the state of Maryland to ensure quality of services through a continuum of care to all brain injured individuals within the state.  Our meetings are held every other month.  We have a different speaker the first hour of each meeting focusing on an issue related to brain injury.  The second half of our meetings consist of introductions of all in attendance and updates and other news about programs, services, and other activities.  Our Council always meets at a different location allowing us to tour a variety of facilities.  This group provides an excellent opportunity to stay on top of community resources available for individuals with brain injury as well as network with other professionals in the field.  Starting in 2002, BIAM members may attend the Council meetings free of charge.  Non-members will be charged $5 with proceeds to go to a scholarship fund so that individuals with a brain injury may attend BIAM's Annual Conference.
